Samsonov's next contract will be identical to Vitek Vinecek's contract and if Samsonov outperforms Murray to a point where it will take $5M to lock him up, then the Leafs will have no problem dumping another first to get rid of Murray's contract

Also, if the Leafs have to trade Samsonov, it will be anywhere but Montreal or any team in the same division as the Leafs
