I agree. One might even argue that the Eichel trade was ill advised. Now they have an essentially empty pipeline, players are hesitant to go there, and WAY too much salary on the books because ownership forced him to hoard skilled players. Sort of ironic that a team based in Las Vegas thinks throwing money at everything is the right solution. Don't get me wrong they are still a very good team. But they have just gone about a lot of things the wrong way.

Haula had more points last season than Roy and his contract is better

Pietrangelo is elite, but his contract is one of the reasons why Vegas struggles

Marchy has chemistry with Karlsson and Smith

Stastny is on 2nd line because he has(had) chemistry with Pacioretty and Stone. Overall this line is better than Karlsson's

Barabanec was QMJHL rookie of the year and looking great
Roy is awesome
Martinez has been key piece of their lineup since they got him
Collin Miller has not been good since they moved him
Howden has been good since they got him
Pietro is good

If it wasn't for the controversial trades on this list I thought this was a parody pointing out good things the front office has done

The Knights lost Pacioretty, Stastny and Dadonov and now they have to fill the holes with borderline NHLers.
Now that they are 10.236.310 over the cap, they will have to get rid of Pietrangelo and Brossoit.
Summing up things we come up to conclusion that defense on my AGM roster and IRL will be pretty much alike, but offense IRL will suck compared to mine

3. Martinez only missed extended time last year. You brought Patches back who will miss 3/4 of a season after missing 1/2 a season

3. Patches' injury is tough, but not as bad as Backstrom's. He might come back, return to shape and continue scoring. Until he returns, bench guys will be playing, they're fine
5. I mean Howden was acquired for the Noah Laba draft pick which Vegas acquired for Stastny
6. Weber is already on LTIR, Lehner too. Needs to put Patrick there too
