I know its a lot of money but the habs finally get a first Center and idk if the oilers will match.... if they do eberle and RNH will be out of EDM really soon...

Sign kulikov 1year to test him... Dallas is kind of a cap dump but since the return is very low so i guess they would accept

Holy crap that's a lot of money for drai, but it is kinda the amount that would make the oilers not match it. I'm glad you're not offering him 6.5 and saying oilers don't match like some people on here

If MTL forced EDM to sign Draisatl for $9.25M, you think EDM would trade RNH to them? I don't think EDM would make a trade with MTL for awhile.

Exactly. Look at when the Oilers signed Penner to an offer sheet. It was another 3 years before Anaheim made another deal with them, and even since then, they've been few and far between.

Its total value of contract divided by 5 yrs not the 8 years you signed him to. The actually comp price on that contract is 14.8mil a season so 4 1st rounders

At 4 1st Edmonton should take the cap shape and picks are run. You know how many holes you can fix with cap space and 1st rounders?

way too much money for Draisaitl. Would be a mistake IMO. If you give him that much what's it going to cost to resign Price? he will want north of $10 per year.

Maximum years you could offer would be 7. The only way you would get Drai for 2 first, 1 second and 1 third would be an offer like $8.5 to $9.25 million for a 5 year contract. I think that Edmonton wouldn´t match such an offer.
