Stars need to sign Robertson. They aren't taking cap.

Glendenning and a 3rd for Nick Robertson
Trade Kerf for a pick elsewhere.

Leafs get their guy, Stars take on minimal cap.

Glendenning is literally one of the worst offensive players in the league. Like bottom 10-20. While he is above average defensively he is not a top 10-20 player defensively. Hard pass. Don't want him anywhere near my team

Don’t want Nick. Very happy with our Robertson and don’t want the distraction of his brother struggling to stay healthy/in the lineup around. I’d take this trade all day long. Dump Faksa. Move Dobby if possible. Swap Glendening for Kerfoot. Give JRob 8 years. Team looks pretty set

You do you

How does your team look next year with Hintz Guri and Kerf needing new contracts? Amongst others.

Pavelski’s cap rolls into Hintz’ new deal nicely. I doubt we keep Kerfoot long term. Guri really depends on what he does this year. But Faksa and Dobby’s cap will be coming off so there’s some room to work. Kerfoot’s too if we don’t re sign. We are always going to have cap issues as long as the bloated contracts are around. Get used to it

Faksa’s still on contract for 3 years. This fantasy deal hasnt made it to the real world yet. Get used to it.

I dont see Nill spending to move Faksa and Dobby to get a 1 year rental like Kerfoot. Guy is 28, gonna want term and salary.
Does Pavelski retire or sign with the Stars again?

I don’t see money for Pavs past this year. I’m realistic about Faksa still being here, but if he’s movable for anything at or less than a second I think you pull the trigger and give JRob 8 years. Kerfoot would be an okay add but I’m not married to it

Guys, sign Robertson to a 1-2 years bridge deal, after trade for Kerfoot. After the season ends, don’t resign Pavs Kerfoot Khudobin, let them walk

I can see Pavs taking a discount in Dallas. He knows he’s getting old and knows there is lots of good young talent on the team that will need raises.
2 mil would be manageable IMO.

I feel like letting Stankoven go bonkers with JRob and Hintz and using Pavs’ money on Hintz’ next deal just makes too much sense. It’s very Nill. Lol. That said if Pavs continues to be productive and is willing to sign cheap one year deals I think it would be foolish to not try to make room for him

Stank on top line would be nuts. Cant wait to see it happen

Any chance Nill signs Hintz to an extension right after the Robo signing?
