Entirely too much for Chychrun, and the Kings aren't bring back MacDermid, as much as he was a fan favorite.

It is a lot of Chychrun, I 100% agree with that, I just personally feel whoever lands Chychrun will overpay for him. Many playoff contending teams will have the need of a player like him and that will drive the cost up.

I also have huge doubts Big Mac will be traded to LA, I would like if Mr. Blake added a bigger, physical guy to the team.

It is a whole lot for Chychrun. I’m not 100% for it, despite me being the one who put this trade together. I think if Chychrun is moved it will be a overpayment.

The realistic trade I would want is this without Spence.

That’s fair. I do expect him to get an overpayment. People see him as this No. 1 d-man and he’s not that guy. He’s a good No. 2 even No. 3 d-man IMO. He’s a good guy to have. It will be interesting to see who gets him. I agree that the Kings, Senators, Florida, and possibly Edmonton will be on the hunt. Edmonton probably only gets him though if they move Barrie IMO. I don’t see Toronto in on him. They have a stacked d-core already. Valid explanation IMO.

The longer the Coyotes hold on to Chychrun, the more his price will fall. Part of his appeal is his team friendly contract still having a couple years left. As those years/months tick off, then it's just getting closer and closer to getting a rental player and then finding money for his big contract.

I hope that’s the case, but also at that point, Arizona might say you know what, Chychrun is no longer available on the market. And at that point either teams pay up or look at other options.
