Why does everyone try to send LD to Montreal? We have no room for them, send Wolf or Zary or MEP or Coronato. I know they are more expensive but at least offer something of need to us, even if we have to add.

Because Micheal Matheson is your Number 1 defencemen. Don't act like you guys are good on defence because you have the worst depth on D in the entire league.

Guhle will be #1, we're trying to be trash this year anyway. We don't have any available space for more LD, we need RD. Idc what your opinion is on the skill of the team, we have a need for certain positions and not others just like every other team in this league. Figure it out.

Either way, I don't think anyone is disagreeing the Habs D core is sucky but the right side is where they have open spots, not the left side. If they're adding Valimaki only to not play Guhle, what's the point?

Matheson isn't close to be the no 1 defencemen and Valimaki isn't better than him, so that's a moot point.

Who cares if Valimaki can play the rights side? So can Harris, Guhle, Edmundson, and a whole slew of our prospects. The point is we are looking for ACTUAL RHD not guys who can play their off side. Besides that Savard Barron and Wideman have equal skill to Valimaki so need a true upgrade there not another 3-7 depth guy.
