Montreal aren't trading Guhle. Take out Guhle for MTL and Sampo and a first on Colorado side

that's real bad for Colorado. Compher is better than Dvorak, and cheaper, and the two extra years dont swing the value which leaves 2 firsts a 3rd and sampo for Guhle which is just an overpayment on a comedic scale

dvorak is not a 1st and 3rd better than compher....I woudlnt even trade compher for dvorak 1 for 1

They got the same point total, however Dvorak did it in 15 less games, and on the worst team. So Dvorak is better. I know points isn't everything but there is a big point difference that cannot be overlooked.

dvoraks contract is not great. Hes 1m more than compher. At the cost of Dvoraks cap hit, avs can ice Compher and another player on an ELC.
In a cap world.....Compher and Newhook at 4.4m or Dvorak at 4.4m. Ill take basically the same player and the talented rookie on ELC over Dvorak

Habs are very high on Guhle and I don’t see him being traded.

not to mention Compher is significanlty better defensivly, and scored the same in less ice time with harder zone starts and much less power play time

and you cant quantify it in a stat, but Compher has been time and time again int he playoffs that guy who comes up clutch with a goal, he just has that part of the game you cant track but he rises to big moments. Pretty sure cup contenders would rather have that guy on their roster

you can actually kinda! Compher just drives play way more consistently, he's able to take tougher match ups and doesnt need to be on a line with better guys to perform. Dvorak is probably more 'skilled' but he's a guy you want being the 2nd or 3rd best guy on your 2nd line tops. Compher can drive similar production from the 3rd line while playing against harder competition starting in the defensive zone, he's significantly more versatile

Dvorak: Decent defensive, great at face offs, already a 50 pt player (was on pace for 48 last year, w/ MTL). His contract is more than fair.

he has never once reached 50 points. His career best is 38 points.

Again, on pace for 48 With MTL, hes a 50 point player

On pace is nothing when you miss 30 games of the season, and on pace for 48 is not 50

this is like saying JT compher is a 45 point player bc he has been on pace before for like 42 points a few times so why not round it up to 45.

if he plays a full season with the habs, thats not a good sign for him, hes trade bait. If they cant trade him its bc hes playing that poorly
