Really? Last season had 51 points, only Barzel and Nelson bad more for the Isles. Kerfoot plus 19....no Isle forward was a plus player

He is a solid 3rd line left wing. He isn’t a top six guy.

Not shocking given how bad they were. Keller wasn’t plus last year. I wouldn’t compare kerfoot to him

Maybe so, but the trade was kinda of a "gift" to Isles for a year 3.5m Kerfoot. Is 4.1m Beauvillier top 6 forward by his play last year. Gee, Lee at 7m doesn't seem like a good bargain.

Over half his ice time was with JT and Nylander. Any middle 6 forward can put up similar numbers playing with those two.

I’m a stronger believer in Beau than Kerfoot tbh. Lee had 28 goals last year and was coming off ACL surgery. I really can’t complain about his play.

Lee put up 28 goals last season on one of the worst offensive teams in the league, on pace for 36 the year before.

Beauvillier can drive a line by himself, can’t say the same about Kerfoot

Honestly I don’t hate any winger on NY. I just don’t like any of them either lol. They r the most average group in the history of average.

What I don't understand is why any team that has 3.5m....and want a LW/centre wouldn't take Kerfoot for free. Now if the Isles have better options, fine, but to think he doesn't have value as player is kinda silly by some of Isles fans. IMO he is traded to Coyotes if he M NTC allows as he owed just 750,00 in actual $$$$

I’d rather give Bellows the 3rd line left wing spot tbh. He finished strong last year and produced at a decent clip in limited ice time.

That being said I wouldn’t be shocked if he ends up being pushed higher into the lineup. He played a **** ton during both of Lambert’s games as acting HC and he finished with 2 goals and 4 assists in his last 9 games. I’m not saying he should play higher in the lineup, but it seems like the isles like him again lol.

If I could swap Bailey for Kerfoot I would ofc. It’s just not possible so there isn’t any point in thinking about it.

In a cap strapped league, teams need their ELCs or cheap RFAs to product above their contract to be successful. You've mentioned Bellows....yep he sure is candidate to break out.

Well the cap strapped Leafs are praying that two Marlies LWers Robertson and Steeves are NHL ready. With Mikheyev and Kase leaving via UFA need some cheap players to play above their contracts.
