Panarin too high, Tkachuk too high, and Stone should be below Pastrnak. Whatever with Stone’s defensive numbers, he’s never been anywhere close to Pastrnak’s numbers.

Also Forsberg and Robertson should be ahead of some of the guys higher then them.

Putting Huberdeau over Marner is laughable

How? Huberdeau just put up 115 points and he doesn’t play with Matthews. Your comment is laughable

Also yeah, Marner plays with Matthews, but guess what? Huberdeau plays with Barkov. Marner scored more goals than Huberdeau this year and scored at a 110 point pace. Sure Huberdeau had more points than Mitch, but Mitch also played in 8 less games and was only 3 points shy of 100. Even if we were to say that Huberdeau is better offensively, Marner's defensive impact is astronomically higher than Huberdeau's. He was our best PKer, and one of our best offensive players. Marner is a beast and is MILES better than Huberdeau

What do the quotes above even mean as an argument for Marner beeing the better player?

Anyway, Marner is a good player, but I would for sure pick Huberdeau ahead of him.

You’re only argument is defense but it’s not like either is absurdly good or absurdly bad at it so that doesn’t really matter. Plus Huberdeau played with Barkov only on the power play most of the year. The difference between who is better is not that much different but saying Marner is miles better doesn’t even make sense considering Huberdeau had more points last year
