Muzzin is a 33-year-old veteran with an unpleasantly large cap hit and a disturbing injury history. He's worth more to the Maple Leafs (because without him, their defense is weaker) than he would be to almost every other team. Even most realistic Toronto fans realize that his trade value isn't all that high. And don't forget that for this entire season, he has an absolute No Trade Clause, so it's unlikely that he'd approve any trade anywhere unless it were to a contender in a city that he might like.

IMHO your sentiment about Pal (which is 💯 accurate btw) could be said about you as well. You're one of if not the most honest and unbiased people in here, which is why you're one of my go to ppl for advice/opinion/input when I have a question/thought/idea about a hockey trade or a player's value.

No I missed it. I still don't see why they had too move money in the first place? Tkachuk was making $7mill which goes to Kadri and Hueberdeau & weager cost a few mill more than Johnny hockey but didn't Mangiapanni come in under what they thought?
