Basically it boils down to two firsts for 2 years of Dubois who is unlikely to sign with anyone but Montreal after the 2 years unless Montreal cheaps out on him or another team offers to massively overpay him.
Monahan is necessary to balance the cap. Valimaki or a 2nd is a sweetener for taking the last year of Monahan's contract. Valimaki is worth more than a 2nd but the small additional cap savings gained by moving him makes it worthwhile for Calgary.

Since when is Monahan hurt? Also, WPG is pretty well compensated for taking him regardless.

The value isn't bad. The Jets are getting a first for taking Monahan as a dump, and then decent value on top of that. But if the Jets trade Dubois, they need better than a long shot center coming back. Coronato is nice, but as a winger, doesn't and can't replace what the Jets lose in Dubois.

It is also extremely unlikely the Jets wait until 25 for one of the picks.
