Keeping Up With the Coredashians - Offseason VII

Créé par: Cauchi19
Équipe: 2022-23 Maple Leafs de Toronto
Date de création initiale: 16 août 2022
Publié: 16 août 2022
Mode - plafond salarial: Basique
Description
If Sandin was going to get an offer sheet, I belive it would have happened already. At this point, he either signs for slightly above his QO, or he sit out and ends up being a trade chip at the TDL.

If the Adam Gaudette situation doesn't work out, he goes down to the Marlies and the team reshuffles their lines with Engvall down at 4C and Robertson up in a Middle 6 Wing Position.

Could offer a third at most for Kerfoot. Canes don’t need him and Leafs don’t have much leverage.

Probably one of the most reasonable posts I have seen in a while. Can’t see any reason Sandin is signed for anything but his QO. Which is great for the Leafs cap situation.

Is Milano worth that at this point however? Is Motte that low? Or are the Rangers just delaying the signing?

I think the title of the post set appropriate expectations for what was to come...

Holl won't pair with Muzzin again. I would wager he plays 3rd pair with Gio or they try him with Rielly which strangely they never have.

Either signing could go either way tbh.

I just figured that a team may offer more money and an extra year for a player they see in their top 6 over someone who is basically limited to bottom 6 minutes especially at this time in the offseason.

I figured 2 4ths would be a easier pill to swallow for Canes fans over a 3rd, and Kerfoot on the wing could help them after losing Pacioretty now.

Im not familiar with the Canes farm system, would there be a player Carolina would be happier to include instead of Rees?

I don't disagree, though I didn't really spend as much time figuring out the D-lines as I did the forwards. If I put much effort in to it, I probably would have ended up with Sandin in and Holl out to be completely honest with you.

Thanks for all the comments guys!

Nobody more than an AHL tier level prospect. Like I said, Canes don’t need Kerfoot and Leafs still need to clear space so it would be more of a move that canes take advantage of if possible versus giving up any worthwhile assets.
