No take backs on the NYR deal

Calgary shouldn't be adding a pick in the Rangers trade, and definitely shouldn't be adding anything to downgrade in the Detroit trade

Gauthier is not a first liner. You're overpaying on both

I understand Gauthier is not a first liner in NYR, it just seems like has a lot of untapped potential. And playing with a high skilled player like Hubie really helps him turn the corner. See what he did for Duclair last year.

Gauthier had 5 goals and 19 pts in over 82 games thus far in his nhl career. Duclair had 79 g and 162 in 353 GP when he came to the Panthers. He was actually coming off a 23 goal and 40 point season in 66 games played entering Florida. So there is no comparison

From watching Gauthier he definitely does have some undeniable skill but he just can't seem to put it together. He could be a solid NHL player if he figures it all out but even then I still think hes just a middle six player (which would be amazing for him at this stage)
