Ottawa says no instantly. Brannstrom is worth more than Pesce, he is 5 years younger and a team can have more control over his contract rights. Pesce is a solid RHD (2/3rd D line), but Brannstrom is still a prospect with a lot of space to improve on a stacked Ottawa team. No way Ottawa are giving up a 1st and a 2nd also tears of joy

I'm sorry man, but saying Brannstrom is worth more than Pesce is absolutely nuts. Pesce is exactly what the OTT D needs, stability and a veteran presence that is not a liability in his own end. Though OTT has impreved immensly, I wouldn't say they're stacked as a team. (Forward group / top 6 yes) The D needs work, and IMO Brannstrom isn't even one of their top 6 Dmen..........and he's about to be passed by Sanderson, Thomson and JBD on the depth chart.

If anyone had wanted Brannstrom, he would have been traded already. I think fans inflate his value because of who he was traded for.
