Thank you. I couldn't find a good location, then realized the ducks have space, coud use another vet, and he would probably want to be there

I could be wrong but with how long Holland has held out on Puljujarvi already I am guessing that wouldn’t do it.

Not sold if I’d want to do a 3rd but I’d do a 4th for him I think

It would be interesting to see if the Oilers would do a Puljujärvi trade for Adam Lowry. $3,250,000 AAV for the next 4 seasons with Lowry, so the cap hit is close to Puljujärvi's $3,000,000 cap hit for this season and then Jesse probably costs more than Lowry after after this season on his next contract.

There would have to be more in either a cap dump from Edmonton or some picks because puljujarvi had more points in less games last year and will likely do better this year again.

Lowry is a big shut down centre and the kind of player that tends to thrive in the playoffs.

Puljujärvi is a winger with potential but he can't seem to stick on a line with top talent which is a problem since he obviously wants to be a top 6 winger.

Aslo, reports were that trade offers were really underwhelming for Puljujärvi earlier this summer.

Oilers are in "win now" mode, so that's why I suggested Adam Lowry because supposedly there's a lot of GMs around the NHL that think he's terrific.

Like I said, I'd be interested to learn if the Oilers would do that trade as I don't know how they'd perceive Lowry's value in regards to how much he'd help them accomplish a deep playoff run.

Why not? He'd have the chance to win multiple Cups with McDavid and Draisaitl and he wouldn't need to score much as the shut down 3C with the Oilers since Edmonton can outscore pretty much every other team with McDavid and Draisaitl and any forwards that end up playing with those two.

As I understand it, since McDavid started treating the NHL like his own personal video game with him on cheat mode, other players have been happy to go to Edmonton whereas the Jets are one of the teams that have the hardest time with NTC restrictions in contracts.

For this reason, I think Lowry jumps at the chance to move to the Oilers if he's presented with that option since everyone seems to the think the Jets are at best a playoff bubble team that's teetering on the brink of a rebuild.

Just doubted because long term deal, and because of his dad, who I just remembered is now gone. Maybe more plausible than I thought

We were looking for a veteran big minute D man. I'd do a fourth, or split the difference on Min 3rd

Fowler — Drysdale
Vaaks — Dillon
Benoit — Shattenkirk

I wouldn’t be mad at it if it took a 4th of Minnesota 3rd
