Description
Tell me which one of those trades look the most realistic and the best for the Montreal canadiens. I know that some trades did not make sens but i'd wanted to take each team of the west

None of those are remotely close. Price has 1 year before hitting UFA and realistically the only teams that would be interested are teams looking to compete that are missing a goalie. Maybe Calgary for Bennet and their first?

Definitely an interesting take on things. Unfortunately, I am not sure you consider the perhaps unrealistic and extremely high value Montreal places on Carey Price. Of those you mentioned, the trades I think are the most "reasonable" might be either your deal with St. Louis (which they would never do because they are in desperate need of scoring) and Winnipeg, if you threw in a 1st rounder and changed up Roslovic for Connor.

Ironically, Vancouver might actually be able to offer the best most "reasonable deal", which they would of course never do because they are rebuilding. BUT a deal of Demko, Horvat, Tanev and a 1st would certanly do it.

^Pretty much summed it up. I'd add that most teams wont pony up those packages when they can just sign Price after next year. Now if he's coming with an extension you have a different story.

Price also hold a modified NTC/NMC for the last year of his contract.

None of these are Price's value. No team is picking a goalie over their 1C

Bennett and 16th overall plus maybe another prospect not named Jankowski, Andersson or Parsons.

Flames wouldn't give up Monahan or any of their current core for a goalie, not even the best goalie on the planet. We have a really good young team, we need a good goalie to take it to the next level, not tear it apart to get a great goalie.

I've thought pretty hard about trading price and it just wouldn't be worth it. First of all, everyone above who didn't take the time to read the title, it says trade with an extension... it's not just one year of price.

Anyways, Price has a NMC and he also wouldn't be willing to sign an extension unless it's the team he wants to play for. I think Price wants to stay in Montreal if they can agree to terms, and Montreal should resign him because there won't be a big enough market for him if they decide to trade him and if they do trade him there aren't any goalies worth picking up that are capable of replacing him in my opinion.

The "with extension" as added after people started destroying the trade values.
