Hockey advanced stats guy. He writes for elite prospects and posts the player cards that say how good players are at different things on twitter every time there’s a transaction.

I’ve seen him mentioned a million times. I’ve looked at what he does and while it’s impressive stuff I’m just wondering who he is? Did he play pro hockey?

I don’t think so. Just a writer/stats guy as far as I’m aware. He’s got one of the more successful/accurate player models and even though it isn’t actually publicly available, he posts the cards on twitter enough that it basically is, so a lot of people that don’t feel like subscribing to anyone like him (me included, although I do sub to the Athletic, so I get Dom’s player cards as well).
