Maybe if you didn’t overpay some the team you’d be under the cap.

Contracts aside as you stated in the description, I don’t see bean as long for this team.

However with the gudbranson signing I wonder if the team is looking to go a new direction with gavrikov/ peeke. I can’t see both here long term (role of gavy vs gud) and we now have an overubundence of right shot defenseman.

Who gets moved out? If gudbranson signed a 1-3 year deal I think they would pass him along after year 2. However I don’t see any team willing to take him on at 32 years old making 4 million.

Forwards I think are much closer. I do think Jake wants to be here past his contract in a mentor role, so that paycut looks solid to me.

Foudy and Bemstrom, especially Bemstrom are probably moved this current off-season as we don’t have room for them next year. I hope foudy is kept and can make the team out of camp but I don’t see it as likely. Unless it’s a 12/13th forward.

However I do expect marchenko to be on the roster and the future replacement to bjorkstrand when his contract runs out. He’s got a lot of the same tools as bjorkstrand. Roslovic really needs to step up this year defensively and prove he can score the points and play good in the d zone.

Holy smokes - I said contracts aside. But maybe you should talk to Jarmo about over payment. Lolololol 8.7 for an offense only player who’s never scored 50. Yikes. What a terrible contract.

Didn’t know what you meant by that. Not a laine guy? We’re all happy about it. He’s working on his game and showed improvement in the d zone last year. But only time will tell how good or bad the contract is.
