I'd rather the Leafs spend to the cap and accrue space over the season. Don't need to trade Muzzin and Holl, esxpecially to bring in Niederreiter and Subban.



Very few teams have over 5 million in cap remaining, and a good number of the ones that do are more focused on fitting their RFAs in. Unless of course he wants to go Arizona or Anaheim where he doesn't have to worry about being useless in the playoffs.

All of these Leafs posts fail when they have Muzzin traded, and especially traded with no cap coming back to th Leafs. So that's another 5.6m added to the Leafs cap. So no 4m LWer. More like Robertson.

Leafs need a legitimate top six scorer to play in that top six. And Subban has a powerful shot who can be put on the second power play unit. As of now, the Leafs don't have a powerful right hand shot on the power play.
