Decent offer, I wouldn't hate it. Would like it more if somehow we were able to keep Bertuzzi but I feel like any trade for MT would include Bert

Would Calgary want roster players though? If they are trading Tkachuk then they are going full rebuild. Wouldn't they prefer futures in that case?

If Tkachuk gets traded it's because they have to not because they want to rebuild. So chances are we won't know Calgary's plans until a deal is done. But plenty of people will claim to know Calgary's plans.

This is for 1yr of Tkachuk nothing more like with Chicago and DeBrincat or Winnipeg and Trouba they aren't going to give anyone permission to contact Tkachuk or anyone who represents him until a trade has been made.

I expect they want 1st rounders and elite prospects and/or young established players. Bert is 27, Vrana is 26, Zadina is low 20s. Still plenty of years left on those guys.
