Listen. His bro is happy in Ottawa (not much different than Wpg) his mom is from Winnipeg and his dad is a former Jets legend. It is not impossible that he'd play here lol. And besides, he is a free agent right now so he can talk to other teams and tell him straight away if he'd sign or not. Alas, this trade offer only exists in the scenario where Tkachuk has spoken to Chevy and told him he'd be willing to sign here.

Is the implication here that the difference between Dubois and Tkachuk as players is Heinola? Because that is one hell of a hot take.

I guess you could look at it that way -- I mean I just took a look at what other ppl on here were offering in Tkachuk proposals and it wasn't much different than the currently rumoured MTL offer for PLD. so I threw in Heinola to get it roughly on par with what other capfriendly fellas were offering for Tkachuk.

If anything, this package is better than most of the other packages I saw on here if im being honest
