You have to realize that Tkachuk is coming with a contract in the ball park around 7-8x10-11 million so his value is a bit lower. Bratt is a good (if not great) 1st line forward, severson is a top 4 defenseman, and mcleod is more of a bottom 6 C but he can take draws and kill penalties while being very inexpensive. Maybe change the 2nd rounder to a 1st but he wont go for as much as people think

you have to overpay for a player like him. Do anything you can to get him. Guys like this dont come around very often if at all

I picked a team that doesn't have any good wingers that could take the last year of his contract. Maybe its not a 3rd but they need better players than what they have around Zegras
