EDIT: They play Columbus and Toronto next. Not the most physical teams. This is the time to try him there.

Like you said earlier, not ideal, but if after 10-20 games the current 1st line isn't quite cutting it, why not try it.
But we have to give that first line some time, its only been 5 games.

Sujet: Ideal future lines

I think that first line still needs time to adjust to each other, especially with the pace of how Huberdeau plays compared to Toffoli.

With that said, would love to have a have a 30-40 goal scorer on that line and have Toffoli on the 3rd line. And as much as I would like Mang on the 1st line, they should never split that 2nd line.

Pelletier and Kane are the same size..... Pelletier might weigh a bit less, but as he develops, he will put on the 10lbs to match Kane

As a Flames fan, that trade isn't doing it. Lewis and Rooney have no value. Phillips probably isn't interesting to the Hawks.

Sujet: Barzal next season

First off, I wouldn't worry about adding a disclaimer. ACGM should be to share stuff like this that might not happen and see what the value of those players are (not like how Montreal fans value there players though lol).

Carolina trade is probably pretty close. They may need to trade a dman before making the deal.
Agree that Flames need to swap Valimaki with another underperforming prospect (unless they can package him for a better player).
For the Barzal trade, I think that's gotta be close. Coronato has 1st line scorer potential, Dube is a solid middle six forward, and Vladar has shown he can be a more than capable backup and I'd even be okay trading the picks unprotected if the Flames had to. The only issue in comparing it to the Eichel deal is the neck injury.

He’s only due $1m in salary so won’t need to give up a 1st to shed the cap hit. I wouldn’t call Zadorov a cap dump. He played pretty well last season.

With that said, moving Lucic and trading for Chychrun should be separate and this trade has too many pieces.

Was hoping for a 5 year deal, but seems like Brad is preparing to rebuild. Only have 4 contracts 3+ years. With that said, also provides a lot of flexibility to sign guys long term.
