They have Devon Levi, portillo, and the giant kid they just drafted (or overdrafted if you like). Also just signed comrie and Craig Anderson to compete with upl. I don't see them spending a second to throw another guy into the mix.

tbh idk portillo, devon levis good, craig andersons on his death bed rn, and comrie is not proven. buffalo would at least wanna be contenders for a playoff spot and vladar is proven to be a good 1a 1b goalie

ur a habs fan, dvorak had 33 pts in 56 games on a dead last mtl team. as a flames fan valimaki has been horrible for us and we need some type of gaudreau replacement

Yep but right now Mtl needs cap space and young prospects. Valimaki could benefit from a change of air. Dvorak is good, but Habs now have Dach so your trade would be welcomed (at least I think so…).

The “too much” is the 1st overall. If Calgary tank next year with Gaudreau gone, it’ll be see as a bad trade… Put in the 2nd round one instead to not deplete your team of a valued possibility of a top 10 pick. Or even if it’s a top 5 pick then the pick switches to the 2024 1st overall instead of 2023..

obviously Tkachuk is better atm than batherson, but Batherson’s value for contract is one of the things keeping the Sens in it. can’t really afford to lose that
