i think Byron is finished, he spends more time injured than on the ice. i want Dubois but i would just wait that way if we win another lottery cause we are terrible we get Bedard and might not need Dubois. Some many possibilities for the future so who knows

You'd need to compensate Winnipeg for taking Byron and Drouin, which you haven't done. Chevy would say no.

-why in the world does Boston make this trade? Carlo is 9 years younger than Petry and makes more than $2M less per year. Petry might be better offensively but Boston has Charlie McAvoy and Hampus Lindholm already on the team to do that, so there's really no need for them to make this deal without Montreal adding a lot.

-even before we get to the value, i don't think Winnipeg can eat this much cap. They've got a little more than $14M in space right now with 8 F / 7 D / 2 G - if they take this they're adding about $13.4M in cap and still don't have a full line up (11 forwards -if- Byron is healthy enough to play). Just for that I think the Jets pass.
