      Détails additionnels:
      Rights to UFA Chad Johnson

With Fleury traded, PIT now needs a goalie to expose for expansion, after having his rights traded, Johnson signs with PIT

This is about as much as I would be willing to give up for MAF, if PIT wants more I think Treliving may look at other options
      5.
      CGY
This group played really well the last half of the season and into the playoffs, hopefully MAF can come in and give CGY the type of goaltending they have lacked since Kipper retired.

I want to give Jankowski at least another full season of dominating in the AHL. He may very well play his way onto the team in training camp however, in which case Stajan can be moved to the wing. In any case he is the first call up. Klimchuk has a shot at making the club out of camp too as I believe he isn't far off.
I want Gillies to develop properly, last season was pretty much his first season of pro as he had surgery the year prior. Gillies and Parsons are the future in goal, I want both of them pushing one another in Stockton while Rittich backs MAF up.
The two young Swedes Kylington and Andersson play their way onto the team as well. I would like them to nab a partner for Brodie, but that would require the 2017 1st to be traded and I don't imagine they will want to be without a pick until the 4th round. Anyway, I break up the Gio-Hamilton pair to let Gio mentor Andersson and Kylington gets paired with Stone. Both young guys are great skaters but are prone to make mistakes, these pairings give them a reliable partner in order to play their game and take chances.

I would also like to see Backlund sign an extension this summer, ideally 5.5x5

You're totally right, it's not like there's an expansion draft coming up or anything. Why would Pittsburgh possibly have to move a goalie?

yea you're right bc the flames are the only team who will be calling on Fleury a 6 time all star. obviously there will be no competitive offers from other teams. sorry I forgot.

If Pittsburgh can get any decent offer from a team requiring a goalie AND isn't on Fleury's NTC, they're going to pull the trigger. Chances are they're going to "lose the trade" by not getting fair value. But the alternative is losing Murray to expansion or buying out MAF and dealing with cap hell for years. So I don't think the trade is as far off as you think.

In fairness, although PIT is probably pretty desperate to get Fleury out of there, I'm nearly certain that other teams will provide better offers than the theoretical CGY offer here.

Probably true. However If I was Treliving, I'd probably explore other options if this offer was rejected. Wouldn't want to break the bank for 2 years of MAF when the Flames are essentially looking for a stop-over goalie until Gillies or Parsons is ready.

Dick, although more teams might call on Fleury, Fleury has a NMC. He can be very selective on where and if he wants to be traded. Pens might have few choices on where he is traded. And since this is likely a pre expansion trade, there are a lot of teams who might not like to their goalie exposed and risked being taken Vegas, after they traded for Fleury. Especially if the the goalies they have are young and cheap and have long term potential..
So it's highly unlikely that the Pens, get "playing value" return for Fleury.

If Calgary can't get Flower cheap, like really cheap, there are other options available. Howard would be really cheap and Detroit would cover a good chunk of salary. Mason will be a free agent so it doesn't cost anything but cap. Raanta will be available and NY won't want to lose him for nothing. Lots of option available. No reason for Calgary to spend a lot on a goalie this year. Nothing more than a lower prospect and a 3rd.
