I hate to say it… but Marino is gone now with the Rutta signing…
My guess is that they couldn’t take find anyone to take Petterson and are now resorting to trading Moreno… Which is incredibly stupid but whatever… I feel like they will carry eight defenseman on the active roster until POJ proves he can take the spot and then I’ll have to move Petterson in season…
I think Moreno gets moved for a forward… And then cabin comes back on the cheap… Today’s signings literally makes zero sense… Or bottom six is going to be garbage… I would’ve rather brought Aston Reese back. I swear Heckstall and Co do not care about analytics one bit… Every single player they have brought in except Rakell has been a terrible possession metrics player…

They are trading at least one of Dumo/Pettersson. They didn’t do a trade because they didn’t have to. They are going to wait for a good deal. Rutta plays the left side more so than the right even though he is right handed.

He can play both sides but I think he’s more comfortable on the left side.
