The Burakovsky deal was pretty solid for Seattle. Don’t think ANA would have been in the running because of the term, but that’s a good player at a nice AAV. Low key like what Seattle is doing. Their build is a little behind ANA, but they’re pulling together some good pieces

Yeah, I don't hate the term on that at all. Didn't like their expansion draft, or their first offseason, but they're starting to get there.

That said, not a huge fan of the term. 5 years for a 29 year old isn’t what I would’ve chosen. Hoping there’s minimal restrictions on trading the contract so we can move him in a few years if needed

So the thing with brown is he’s a ufa after next year and wants to test the market and likely gonna get a 5 x 5 offer if not more. Also with signing Giroux, the 3rd line became Formenton-Pinto-Joseph so he was always gonna get traded for futures once Giroux signed

Depends where Rico plays I guess? Eakins usage is typically a big bogey, so who knows. Just as good of a chance that Strome plays 4th line minutes while Grant plays 30 a night
