1. Yotes aren't eating that much cap for literally peanutsk, especially since there is term there. For that much you'd definitely have to look at a 1st rounder going to Arizona. Or multiple seconds. Look at Vancouver, 12m for 1 season cost us a second and taking an ugly OEL contract... We made off with 5m~ in space pre garland extension from that trade.

2. Canucks aren't trading the first for an "okay" player. Also Brown is no where near that value at all. Even 50% retained. Brown is barely worth a very late first non retained. Don't kid yourself thinking he is worth more than a middle first.
