Necas worth way more than Puljujarvi

Necas is going to see $3.5-4 million on a bridge deal imo. Prices him out of Edmonton I think.

Canes can get way more for necas. Plus Bear and Gardiner are likely gone, and thats an overpay for Tony.

I'm not disagreeing with you at all, just genuinely curious as to why he has more value? Nechas was on pace for 42 points in 82 games this year and Poolparty was on pace for 45. They have a 1 year age difference. The only difference I see is one is a center and one is a wing (which yes means they are worth a little more) but do you really think Nechas has that much more value?

Ability to play center is definitely a factor. Also think that Necas has a higher ceiling at this point. I’m a fan of Puljujarvi; I actually want Devils to trade for him, but I think Necas is better player. Honestly don’t think Puljujarvi will get much via trade. Probably average player or prospect and 2nd/3rd

On that last comment about Tony Deangelo, I tend to agree that this is an overpayment, but he's a mystery to me. Did he smarten up this year? Was he a good teammate? His offensive numbers are unquestionably impressive, but what is fair value for him?

I'd say around 4.5-5 max. He obviously fantastic offensively, but still absolutely terrible defensively and has had some moments where he's lost his cool and costed his team.
