Overall, this Rangers team is an improved version of the 2021-22 team. Keeping the defense roughly the same, Nils showed signs last year that he can play in the NHL. This is enough for the Rangers to see him as a 3rd line defenseman. Bringing back Copp solidifies the center group. Keeping a lot of the chemistry for the top 3 lines to be shuffled. The addition of Krav should help the Rangers in more ways than one. The addition of Puljujarvi is the benefit of Georgiev having high market value. The Rangers had interest in the past and would work well with this group in the middle 6. Comrie is brought in as the backup, not much to go about this part. Nemeth and Gauthier are also sent out. They do not fit on this team and get some value from both of them. There are a lot of players on the Wolfpack that are on the verge of getting the callup to the NHL level. This team leaves room if they need to do some shuffling, or if they need to make some moves at the deadline.
