I don’t think ARI does that
They would want solid assets going their way

I doubt it. For whatever reason Bailey has a good reputation and it his salary is much less than his cap hit. It won’t cost more than a 4th or 5th to move him.

Just like the islanders would want solid assets coming back in a Josh Anderson trade

But rumors says Lou would be welling to offer the 13th OA to land Anderson. I really don’t get why you guys (people on Capfriendly) get upsets by rumors and other teams fan base using those rumors to make trades. Like it’s way more realistic then what you think is fair or not. We had the perfect exemple yet again last TDL, you should pay us to give Ben Chiarot when rumors were saying MTL were looking for a 1st RD pick +. After, Kulak might get a 2nd RD pick. People where laughing. It would take an overpay to acquire Lehkonen. We got it. But at least those players, MTL fans were defending them despite the numbers (Lehkonen Kulak Chiarot). I don’t see a COL fan mad now, neither an EDM fan. Chiarot costed a lot and they got swept so for him it might be a different story. So believe us when we are saying Josh Anderson IS a top 6 power forward.

There have been no credible reporters saying isles would give up a 1st for anderson

I know that, but were did you saw me doing Anderson vs 13th OA trade ? Plus, a lot of report came that a lot of teams are ON Josh Anderson but Kent Hughes doesn’t want to move him. So again, why doing a bad joke when y’all know he has value ?

I’m not doubting that teams are interested in Anderson, I am saying it’s fake news that the isles would give their 1st rd pick

Sure , non zero chance but those rumors are no different than me going on my Twitter account and saying the Habs have interest in trading #1 overall for Anthony Beauvillier

Spamming cap friendly with unlikely trades makes this place a cesspool, especially when Habs fans feel entitled to getting certain players/picks

What a terrible, terrible off-season that would be for the NYI. I dont like a single one of those moves.

Getting rid of Bailey would be a great thing, I’m not a huge fan of the 2nd trade. Puljujarvi would be a great add, isles need more play drivers.

Bailey is the whooping boy and while he def isn't elite like some people joke about, he's been a very good Islander especially the last half decade and he always plays better in playoffs. I am not saying he is by any means untouchable, there may be 2 of those on the Isles, but "getting rid of bailey would be a great thing" i think is not fair either. He is worth way more than future considerations, this isn't Peter Regin or Marty Reasoner lol.

Bailey is old and just had the worst season of his career , I don’t hate the guy. He needs to replaced with a younger and faster winger
