Just to let you in my head a little: taking advantage of cap strapped teams (Boston and Toronto), Seattle has a million picks and only a few quality players (so give them a leader instead of rolling the dice with a 2 more prospects), EDM showed that they need a reliable goalie and they might need to overpay a little for that.

Offer for Nylander is probably light even though I am pretty high on Holmstrom.

Unless the cap jumps a decent amount no money for Barzal/Wahlstrom/Mayfield next off season.

Boston's isn't really "cap strapped" as McAvoy & Marchand are able to go on LTIR to start the season.

whether it would be fair or not for the isles, the only players the Leafs deal Nylander for are Pelech, Pulock, Barzal, Dobson, Sorokin. Not saying Nylander has the same value as any of these guys, but no other package can really make the team better today so the Leafs would decline.

Maybe some kind of package including multiple of: Dufour, Raty, 1st rounder, Wahlstrom. But that's if we go futures route and then use the cap space elsewhere
