Sujet: Finally got Sorokin

It's going back to the trade from the offseason that couldn't get completed bc of how complicated it was. This wouldn't be a complete deal; just a start to it. But it spreads their cap hits which would help if the NHL doesn't allow them to buy out Parise. But the Isles would obv need to give some more to work this out.

Sujet: blow it up

lol 2 first rounders and 3 players picked in the first round, so 5 firsts, a second, a third, and cal for karlsson and smith. No thank you. no team trade 5 first round picks for 2 players. but nice try. and that just for the isles trade. Duchene can get prob 60% of that, and Boston cant stop laughing at that offer to say no.
Just terrible evaluations all around!!!

They also have plenty of prospects, and UFA rights to Kempny and Jerabek. You may remember Michal Kempny from his assist on the winning goal in the Stanley Cup finals? I think they'll probably let him walk.

The Caps are not trading a top ten goalie (by GAA and spct last year, among guys with 30 games played) for two press box left defensemen who won't even play top pair on their AHL affiliate in Hershey. If no other offers come in for Grubauer, the Caps can afford to just sign him and are happy to have him back. If a team offers a mid to high 1st, he's gone. If the Isles offer two 2nds (one this year... one in 2020? ) and Michael Dal Colle, I think the Caps take a chance and make a deal.</div></div>

What do u think of this: instead of Toews, put in 2020 3rd and Johan Sundstrom a 25 year old Swedish center and former second round pick?

Soderstrom is not ready for the NHL. He'll spend the year in the AHL and then hopefully he will be ready by the 2019-2020 season.
