Never said the Rangers will get PLD, but you are out of your mind if you think Laf is even in the conversation. IMO Kakko and a 1st or Chytil, Lundkvist, a 1st, and Cullye are probably the best Drury will offer. If that doesn't get the deal done so be it, but the Jets and Rangers have been trade partners last few years, Hayes for a 1st and Lemieux, Trouba for a 1st and Pionk, now the Copp deadline deal.

Hayes was a rental, Copp got more value than what the Dubois trade offered and jets got a very good defencemen back in Pionk and a first for Trouba. Plus trouba complained even more that Dubois to get out of Winnipeg.

I am guessing you didn't watch the Rangers when Pionk was there, he was absolutely horrendous as a Ranger defensively, very hit or miss offensively. Again, Lindy Ruff was running the defense so in hindsight, Pionk probably had potential if playing with an actual structure and proper coaching, but the Rangers were dying to get rid of Pionk. If you think Copp got a better return than Chytil, Lundkvist, a first and Cullye or Kakko and a 1st, you clearly are not watching the Rangers nor are you paying any attention to our prospects.
