Earlier I would have considered that an overpayment for Boeser, but with Smith’s poor play as of late I think that package is closer to fair value.
The problem is still the fit for Vancouver, not convinced Smith and Zacha fit the profile of what they’d be looking for at the moment.
Besides, there are numerous viable forward options for the Devils to pursue in FA. Any of Burakovsky, Nichushkin, Marchment etc would be a great get for the Devils.

I don’t believe NJ pursues Boeser anymore. Marchment and Bura fit in NJ best imo. I’m just tired of seeing Fiala and Brink trades

From what I have seen/read out of Vancouver, it appears they are trying to trade Miller now and will extend Boeser.
