Description
SORRY FOR THE LONG DESCRIPTION
Just read it if you want

Most important thing is that I think no one is really noticing that the team isn’t so banged up heading in to this off-season and the rest is good as well. There hasn’t been anything regarding Dumo and Zucker so far so I think they’ve been recovering decently. Hopefully lol. But they all could be ready to go at the start of the season.

I think re-signing Kappy could be critical to help the team out a lot. He’s got the tools to rebound from this season and it’s just a matter of time till he does get his game back offensively. And that’s just something a lot of Pens fans have to see. He also has some good chemistry with Sid and Jake.

I don’t see Hextall trading assets to trade Zucker. I don’t completely trust reports surrounding Pettersson. I feel like they are very mixed up a lot. One day he has value and the next day he doesn’t. Seems to be they can’t make up their minds.

It would be nice to have Heinen and ERod back but they gotta get paid some money that Pittsburgh will not be able to pay them all. But bringing back Boyle and DeSmith are things I could see happen.

Signing Sanford could be a good signing. Despite him being another two-way hitting winger he could also be a guy that plays a 3rd/4th line role.

It may not be good to run it back with the same team but I can’t stop wondering what it would’ve been like if Sid wasn’t injured in game 5. Cause before that he was playing some of the best hockey and because of that they were winning the series until the moment he was hit by Trouba. And in my honest very unbiased opinion, the only team other than Tampa Bay that could’ve beat the Rangers was Pittsburgh with a healthy Sid. Sorry Rangers fans it’s nothing against the Rangers but Pittsburgh had it going with Sid before his injury. Also not to mention missing Rakell and Dumo the majority of the series.

This would be bit of a risky roster to run with but it could be quite rewarding. Sid and Geno 100% at the start of the season this time. Having a good top 6. A questionable 3rd line unless Zucker could stay healthy and Nylander pans out. But a solid 4th line. Could be good results.

Defence remains identical but we seen how good they could be.
Goaltending needs no explanation.

Also something that could play a factor is this team could be a bit more prepared and stronger for a full 82 game schedule. But at the same time that’s still alot to expect lol.

Pierre LeBrun all but said that Kris Letang wants $8,000,000 x 5 years to remain in Pittsburgh. He's probably gone and replacing Jeff Petry in Montreal.

Good luck, According to LeBrun, Hextal offered Letang $8,000,000 x 3 years and he wants 5 years. So something has to give.

Reports have been everywhere with Letang as well. I stopped listening to them a while ago. Especially after how Rust’s contract talks went

I wouldn't mind going into the season with this roster but please no Boyle - especially if it's over O'Conner. O'Conner needs to play.

I’d give him just a little more time to develop his game. And if he keeps impressing in the minors then he’ll get the call and maybe he’ll find a full time role

I don't know man, seems like a bad move. He's ready. his advanced numbers were fantastic this year. He's going to be 24 and already played two years in college and 2 in the AHL - and also some NHL time. How long are you going to wait?

God bless Boyle for what he did last year but he was already slow and is now coming off knee surgery at 38. He's exactly what we don't need haha

I love O’Connor as well but I just want to see him get a bit more time in the AHL. It wouldn’t be too much time he spends in the AHL.
