Ur joking? A first round pick, and a very elite prospect are you okay?
i'd say that to Armstrong the GM. But his ask was like Elite Prospect, 1st, Roster player etc. I very much don't think he's worth it, and truth be told with his injury history and his declining play he isn't worth it. GM thinks he is tho so that's what matters to them. I would cross Chychrun off of the boards for the Blues. For one he doesn't really make sense on the roster when we play physical and Chychrun breaks like he's a toothpick lol. I see more viable options such as Grz in Boston, or Butcher Murry Zadorov Maatta Edler all on the market for a decent cheap price. Leddy could make a comeback if he falls into the price range. It's isn't exactly a deal breaker for Chychrun if we got him, but with some of the articles saying Perunovich, 1st, Kyrou, and Kostin. I think that's way too much and I would never do it in a million years.

Every team except St. Louis declines easily. And Arizona easily declines the St. Louis trade
Now as for Philadelphia between you 2 in conversating. Makes no sense for Philly to openly trade York who is their future rather than trading off pieces such as Provorov and older pieces such as JVR Atkinson Hayes. Especially in a rebuilding window, it makes no sense at all for them to trade York. JVR is not an outright salary dump. He's not going to get premium price, but not a dump.
O'Brien is basically a 4th line guy, and on Arizona to be a fourth line guy, probably has no shot at a roster spot anywhere. Basically I'm saying a 3rd and an AHL player does not get Kassian who is decent, and Holloway a premium prospect forward.
Tyler Myers is bad, but with the shape Vancouver is in. No way they do that they will keep Myers and bite the bullet on that one. Especially when you ask too much of a dumping price. I don't think you can name someone who was bad enough to get a 2nd and a good prospect for a bad player even Zaitsev didn't get that.
As much as people joke about Smith being bad. He got them to the Conference finals and has been doing fairly well. Smith right now is outplaying his 2.2 M cap hit. So think he's a cap dump ish type of player is really dumb. Smith has done so well that he might have just played himself into the starting job for next year who knows. But it's completely preposterous to believe that because he played poorly against a team that has annihilated even Tampa makes him bad. If you look at the 2 previous series Calgary and Los Angeles he didn't do too bad to be quite honest. So overall the assumption is correct on what mv said everyone declines except St.Louis, and Arizona declines St.Louis.
