deal doesnt work as vancouver would be admitting they are selling. the devils wouldnt sell the 2nd overall and next years pick as they want a top liner not a top pair. quinn would also not be on the top pair as why pair dougie and quinn. but man itd be pretty neat to have all 3 hughes bros play on the same team. PbP announcers nightmare for whoever takes over for cangi.

Canucks decline

Devils decline. Sentimentally it sounds good, logistically it sounds really bad. I love Quinn's talent, but with Luke in the system, Quinn doesn't really fulfill an organizational need. He would instantly make their power play more significant, but so will Luke when he finally comes in.

Also the price is nuts. That 2023 first could end up being Bedard, and while I'd love to see Bedard in Vancouver (he's BC born), suicide rates would go up among Devils' fans if that ended up being at their expense.

It's not even a decline, Allvin hangs up immediately. Demko, Hughes and Pettersson are currently deemed untouchable.
