Mayfield would be a great low event D if we wanted some stability.

I hope we can move Voracek off the top line because we are really going to need players who can play in his spot by the time he leaves and he's a veteran who just can't play D. The problem is that if he's actually performing like an assistant coach on the ice it's probably really helpful. I think he could do a lot for Kent Johnson's game if that's the route Kent wants to go.

I would hate to see Chinakov not getting minutes again this year, there's no way he's going to adjust to the ice if he can't get minutes but it's hard to place him into the lineup otherwise. We must not trust development in the AHL.

I wasn't trying too hard on the lines, especially the order one through four. I'd love if Johnson came in and took over a spot right out of the gate. And as for Chinakhov, I have a feeling it'll all work itself out. Guys get hurt. You know Boqvist is good for missing at least 20 games. Boone and Tex are injury prone too.

This year Cleveland might be a better environment with Vogelhuber in charge. It's a young man's game now.

Respectfully i wouldnt touch that trade. Id keep him and move him at the TDL when he could probably bring back a late 1st.

i’d rather just wait until the TDL, he makes 1.45mil so super easy to fit him under the cap and i’m sure a ton of teams will be interested at the TDL if the isles are out of it and will offer a better package than this.
