but why? they have 3 top 6 centers. Not to mention there biggest problems are scoring and defense. Trading two very young amazing players like dobson and Walhstrom hurt them way too much rn. they cant afford to get rid of them atm

i’d be super interested in logan cooley, but dobson’s a huge price to pay, kid’s an absolute stud. don’t think you can really say no to a deal for 1OA but it’s not really a win now move or a rebuild move. idk. it’s a tough one.

With what we know now about dobson id pick him before wright 100 times out of 100. Dobsons a sure thing wright most certainly isnt. And he doesnt even have the upside of a franchise player. Add wahlstrom and theres no chamce i make this trade.

Not close on the Edmonton deal. They have bo cap space and don't want your crap players... and they certainly aren't paying top prospects for them.

If they Isles were entering a rebuild...maybe but still probably no. Individually, those three assets could all net a 1st rd pick (minimum) with Dobson returning a lot more than just a 1st.

This is a NO from the Isles. I understand it' the #1 pick. But the Isles (right or wrong) are not rebuilding. Lou (GM) is trying to win now. So moving his Top 22 yr old Mobile, scoring Defenseman, along with Wahlstrom who's a young sniper, who they want to put on Brazal's wing for a full year to see if they click. Vary is insurance for 1 more year for Sorokin. We don't want to tired out Sorokin in the regular season and keep him fresh for the playoffs hopefully.
