I wouldn't get too worked up. CapFriendly is all about trading/OS'ing players, then when someone says "Yiiiiikes", you turn around and tell them all of the players flaws, while simultaneously putting them as your top pairing dman/top 6 forward/#1 goalie.

Is Kakko what he was billed to be? Probably not. IMO, a big part of the role that he's been forced to play in by Turk/Quinn. Does that help his development long term? Hard to say...but Turk is hard to please.

Biggest question I have about Kakko is "WHY THE F DON'T YOU SHOOT MORE?!?!!". Numbers all point towards a breakout, he just doesn't seem to shoot.

The point I’m making isn’t about home towns, it’s about being underpaid by choice. Pavelski didn’t grow up in Dallas yet his new contract is a discount. Anyways it’s not overly relevant because there’s so many options to sign out there anyways. Just thought I’d have fun with the name and his obvious ties to his sister
