So, this is for fantasy purposes only. I have been rebuilding last few years and this would be my first big trade to take next step. The ‘24 1st would be in the 1-10 overall. I would be getting werenski. Do I make the trade? I’m leaning yes

I think it's a good trade. You're essentially trading the 1st round for what you hope the 1st rounder could become. There aren't many defensemen that can score as much as Werenski does when he's healthy. I know Knies has some potential, but I dunno if he gets to the level where he's a real high level fantasy asset.

Yeah I submitted the trade. I have like 20mil in cap space. League has 93.5 cap ceiling

This has nothing to do with the leafs. It’s for my fantasy team. It just so happens the other guy wanted two leaf players so I used their team as a base
