If we did this I think we let Nino and Troch walk and focus on bringing in another top 6 winger scoring option. I really like the bones of something like this though.

I would do all but Drury probably. I like Rees a lot too but Mang is probably what Rees' ceiling is so you could have your own replacement for him in a few years haha

I would be hesitant to move koivunen as well. I think some of these prospects would border on a little rich for the canes with necas already in the deal. I feel necas and mangiapane are pretty close in value when you look at their career as a whole. Obviously Mangiapane had a huge year and necas was down a little which is making the difference in value

Wings need a sweetener if we'Re taking Monahan. Something like a 2nd round pick should be fine.

I disagree. It's a gamble, but I'd be willing to take Monahan for future considerations. The cost is the only hinderance and we have the cap space. It's low risk, high reward. Even if they added a sweetener, there's no chance it's more than a 3rd at most.

I like Necas, a lot. But Carolina has to add significantly here. Mangiapane is basically Teravainen 2.0 and Necas is no where near that level.
