Well I mean objectively compared to the leafs they have more playoff success all the way back to their entrance into the league

@jebaulch00 If you made Topi Niemelä (RHD) instead of Mikko Kokkonen (LHD) you may generate more interest from the Sabres.
Buffalo has three solid NHL LHD plus Johnson as a good prospect.
Only Jokiharju is signed while Laaksonen and Fitzgerald are their top LHD prospects.
Neither are projected to be top pairing.

Watch hockey outside your own market, niemela doesnt make top 8 prospects on sabres

I am saying a good LHD prospect does not move the needle.
Niemela and Kokkonen are former third round picks, if you would like Buffalo to take Mrázek then you need to offer something that the Sabres consider valuable, Kokkonen is not at all valuable to the Sabres.

So let's agree, Toronto does not want to offer what the Sabres need, so the Sabres do not accept Mrázek.
I hope we can agree on this, Mrázek will not be traded to the Sabres.

Just because a player was drafted in the third round doesn't mean they hold the same value as a third round pick lmao. In that case I want Mark Stone for 6th 1 for 1
