No reason for us to trade our starting goaltender and franchise icon one season before his sweater is lifted into the rafters, never mind the 50% retention which is worth that entire package alone. What an awful idea for the Kings.

Probably the same, but I think they keep him instead of Vanecek.

Isles have no need for Eller - they've got 4 veteran centers already signed and Eller isn't significantly better than any of them. If they're moving assets they'll use them to get a winger or LD.

I can't see LA moving Quick at all - he's only got one year left, they've got the room to carry his deal for the last season, and he's a franchise icon that I'm sure they don't want having that weird "Brodeur in St. Louis" type of last season.
