Seattle isn't trading Larsson, if they were to name a captain next season he would likely be the choice. You wold have to add considerably more, plus futures for the Kraken to even consider accepting.

Why all the Muzzin trades to the Kings, he’d have to waive to come here (which he won’t) because his 10-team NTC list kicks in next year.

If the Kings wanted they could have Edler at half the price without giving up assets.

Seattle has a history of trading their captain to the Leafs so that's a positive sign.

Muzzin has a history of playing well alongside Doughty so the Kings might still want him.

He gets put in trade rumors because he's always injured near playoffs, except for this year.

He's still a great player when healthy, the Leafs just need to allocate the cap smarter because of their current inflexibility.

Surely that means another game seven first-round exit then too.

There is no season where they were primary line partners, they played special teams but Muzzin has lost a step and those two would be slugs on a power play now without a younger player.

Absolutely no interest in installing Jake Muzzin 2.0 even if he would waive his NTC, plus we could re-sign Alex Edler for less than Jake's cap hit, and we would probably get the same results without having to expend assets to re-acquire Muzz. Will you Toronto guys please stop doing this? It's like the Jeff-Petry-to-Detroit trades.
