Terrible value on trades and Bergey is not signing that.

I know we lose out but were also clearing cap space for Strome and Pasta next year.
Bergie would sign that, he’s not going anywhere else, already said it. If he stays, it’s to win with Boston, he has nothing left to gain other than allowing his team to give him the best shot at another cup.

He’s not signing for 2 years or for that little.

BTW Strome is not an upgrade over Haula.

Once Haula was put un C2 role he averaged .73 ppg same as Strome. Won 54% of faceoffs to Strome 44%, and he’s better defensively.

We said the same thing with Ovechkin and look at the contract he signed. Bergy isn’t taking that especially when his long-time agent will likely offer him at least triple of that salary to play in Montreal.

its going year to year at this point with bergy IF he doesnt retire. i dont want strome terrible faceoff guy and thats a big reason carolina won their home games.
