Also emergency call ups exist and the cap space builds up so as the season goes on its a non issue. But you're a devils fan so I'm not surprised to see how out of touch with reality you really are.

It's more of a matter of not using those assets when there can be better options than a guy with a 47% WAR that can be had for cheaper, especially from a team desperate to cut cap.

As for emergency call ups, did you not see what went on with Vegas when they tried to be so close to the cap? All you need is a couple bumps and bruises at the same time and it goes very poorly.

That third line is .... Interesting. Robertson, Domi, Sheary - I can't see how that line gels. Domi is a less useful Kerfoot, Robertson needs someone to send the puck to - he's another Marner. Not sure these players compliment each other very well. Better to have an universal 3rd (all hard hitters, all PK, or all speed, etc.)
