This draft seems very deep but doesn't have as much "Start power" as the 2023 draft. My pick would Be Conor Geekie if he is available. He is a very polarizing player, some scouts believe that he could become a franchise center, but others can't get past his below-average skating. I believe that he can become a big, tough, top 6 two-way center with great hands. I could see him staying in the WHL for at least one more season to be the main guy on the team as Savoie will probably get a shot in the NHL next year. If he can improve his skating over next season then he can probably jump into the NHL in the 2023-24 season on the 3rd line.

Conor Geekie looks like a Jets pick

It’s my personal preference. I also would like Lekkernaki. If Nazar somehow falls to 14 I’d be all over that.

I think both Lekkerimaki and Nazar are gone before the Jets pick though, but who knows.

At #14, just take the best player available. Hopefully someone will drop into their laps like the past two years.

Yeah I think some team will reach for him because he's a big center and all, but 14 is pretty much where he should go talent-wise

Conor Geekie is never going to be a franchise center. I would be hard pressed if he even became a 2C
